The Scout is 3D-printed under-seat storage for the Yamaha Ténéré 700 — specifically models equipped with the Yamaha Rally seat. The Rally seat creates more under-seat clearance than the OEM seat, and the Scout was designed to fill that exact space.

It sits beneath the Rally seat and gives you a discreet spot for the gear you want on the bike regardless of trip length — tire plug kit, tools, first aid, documents. Out of sight, protected, easy to get to when you actually need it.

Made from Polymaker PET-GF15 — glass-fiber-reinforced filament — printed in-house. Handles the heat, vibration, and general abuse that comes with real riding.

Built for the Rally Seat Yamaha Ténéré 700

  • Custom fit for T7 models with the Yamaha Rally seat (not compatible with stock or Seat Concepts seats — see Notes)
  • Two profiles: Tall for the full cavity, Low if you'd rather not flex the seat during reinstall
  • Two versions: With Screw Cubby adds a small secondary compartment for fasteners and clips — best if your battery area has minimal aftermarket wiring. Without Screw Cubby accommodates more wiring — all wiring must sit below the top of the battery.

Variant & Installation Notes

Scout Tall vs Scout Low. The Scout Tall is designed to tuck into the larger space beneath the Rally seat. To reinstall the seat, it must be flexed slightly to engage the front mounting lip. Please review the installation videos for proper installation instructions. If you'd rather not flex the seat during reinstallation, the Scout Low is the better choice.

Seat Concepts seats. The Rally version does not fit Seat Concepts seats.

Lid. The lid is not waterproof or dustproof. It can help reduce dust intrusion, but it will not seal the compartment completely. Its main purpose is to give the storage box a cleaner, more finished look when the seat is removed.

Screw Cubby. The With Screw Cubby version works best if your battery area has minimal aftermarket wiring. The Without Screw Cubby version accommodates bikes with more aftermarket electronics — all wiring must sit below the top of the battery for proper fitment.

For pillion storage on the same 2019–2023 T7 generation, the Drifter pillion storage box pairs cleanly with the Scout — together they cover most of the unused space on the bike.
